The Field Training Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering training and onboarding initiatives for all store employees, through partnership with field leadership.
They are responsible for program development, leader enablement, and monitoring the overall success and execution of training programs.
Job Details:
Store Training program development and management Proactively identify store training needs Research, develop, and recommend training options to solve for knowledge gaps and ensure the success of all onboarding and training programs for store level positions Lead project meetings both with internal SME's and potential vendor partners Works closely with Sr.
Training Manager on creation, communication, and monitoring of detailed training plans for all store employee roles Work closely with internal and external teams to develop and maintain training programs and resources.
70% Primary steward of ensuring newly hired or placed store employees are set up for success.
Supplemental training and development 20% Conduct ad hoc training and development sessions with District and Store Managers.
Operate within multiple training environments (in person, written, video, CBT/WBT, OTJ, etc.
) Proactively identify, plan and facilitate training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, and in collaboration with others to achieve training and development objectives.
Ability to communicate effectively with a focus on change management at all levels of retail organization.
Excellent understanding of the retail environment and front-line employee.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong relationship building and networking skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for timely completion.
Experienced presentation and facilitation skills Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills including a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service.
Demonstrates an ability to react appropriately under pressure, apply good judgment in ambiguous situations, uses sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of training techniques and development tools.
Demonstrates the ability to design and influence the employee engagement with learning and development tools.
Outstanding verbal, written and technical communication abilities.
Perform basic PC applications, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

years' experience in learning and development or related Human Resources field is preferred.
Field retail experience is a plus.
Note:
This position requires occasional travel and overnight stays; a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history is required.
