Must be available to work some evenings, some weekends, some holidays.
Purpose :
If you're interested in behavior and want to get your foot in the door, you've come to the right place! If you love dogs and want to spend more time with them while taking care of their daily needs, you've also come to the right place! Canine Care team members are responsible for helping keep the training facility clean and orderly.
They also walk, feed and medicate our campers.
Last but not least, Canine Care team members spend one-on-one time with our campers playing, reinforcing their training, going on sniffy walks and cuddling on the office couch now and then.
Being comfortable with dogs of all sizes (we offer handling training) is required.
Canine Care team members are also responsible for interacting with clients for pick-ups and drop-offs, so strong interpersonal skills a must.
Skills / Qualifications :
- Great attitude and a team player.
We are a small tight-knit team.
We all rely on each other and are looking to add a team member who is also a team player.
-Punctual.
Zero tolerance for candidates who cannot show up on time, every shift.
Making sure our dogs are properly cared for is only possible if everyone is on time and ready to work.
- Hard worker.
There's little down time here so Canine Care team members must like to keep busy and shouldn't mind walking dogs in all weather conditions and cleaning kennels when accidents happen.
This is also a great path to becoming a Puppy Raiser We are growing our training team and hire from within by promoting current team members before opening the job up to the public.
